Photo Resizer & KB Compressor (Vemirox) · Android app · Last updated: October 14, 2026

In short

This policy explains what the app “Photo Resizer & KB Compressor” (the “app”, package com.vemirox.photoresizer), published by Mar Apps & Games (“we”, “us”), does with information. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Your photos

You choose photos with the Android system photo picker, or take one with the camera app. The app receives only the photos you select. Resizing, compressing, cropping, rotating and removing metadata all happen on your device. We do not upload, copy, store or look at your photos, and we have no server that could receive them.

Results are saved to your gallery only when you tap Save, and are passed to another app only when you tap Share. Temporary working files stay in the app’s private storage on your phone and are removed by the system when you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.

2. Permissions

PermissionWhy
Internet / network stateNeeded to show ads, to check the one-time purchase, and to send anonymous statistics when allowed. Resizing itself works offline.
Advertising ID (AD_ID)Used by Google AdMob for ads, as described below. You can reset or delete it in your Android settings.

The app does not request access to your photos, files, contacts, location, microphone or camera. If you tap “Take a photo”, your phone’s own camera app opens and returns only that one picture.

3. Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob (banner, native, full-screen and rewarded ads). To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and use data such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions. This may be used for personalised or non-personalised ads, depending on your choice.

Where required (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app shows a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform before ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time in the app: Settings → Ad privacy choices.

More information: How Google uses data from ads · Google Privacy Policy. You can also manage ad personalisation in your Android settings (Google → Ads).

4. Anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The app can use Google Analytics for Firebase to learn how it is used, so we can improve it. Collection is switched off until the consent rules allow it, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings → Share anonymous usage statistics.

We send only counts and settings, for example how many photos were added, which preset was used, whether a result was saved or shared, and how much the file size was reduced. We never send photos, file names, photo contents or exact location. Firebase also automatically collects standard technical data such as an app-instance identifier, device model, Android version, app version, language and approximate country. The data cannot be used by us to identify you personally.

More information: Privacy and Security in Firebase.

5. Purchases

The app offers two optional ways to remove ads: a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it, and a one-time purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your card or payment details. We only learn, through Google Play Billing, whether a purchase or subscription is active on your Google account, so that ads can be turned off and the purchase can be restored on a new device. Each time the app opens it asks Google Play whether your subscription is still active.

You can cancel the subscription at any time in the Google Play app (Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy.

6. Rating the app and sharing it

The “Rate the app” button uses Google Play’s in-app review or opens our Play Store page. The “Share app” button opens Android’s share sheet with a link to the app. We do not receive information about who you share with.

7. Data we keep

The app stores your settings (language, theme, default options, ad-free status and consent choices) on your device only. We operate no user database and keep no personal information about you. Data collected by Google (AdMob, Firebase, Google Play) is kept by Google under its own policies.

8. Sharing of data

We do not sell your personal information. The only parties that receive data through the app are the service providers named above: Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Play.

9. Children

The app is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to processing. Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to provide, but you may contact us at any time. For data held by Google, use Google’s own tools at myaccount.google.com.

11. Security

Because photos never leave your device, they are as safe as your phone is. Network traffic used by the app’s services is sent over encrypted connections.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we add a feature. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be described in the app’s update notes on Google Play.
